The fish and the shark

Once upon a time there lived a fish and a shark.
One day the fish was hungry and wanted something to eat.
It went to the shark's cave to get some food,
but, when the shark saw the fish he quickly swam to it's cave and blocked the fishes way
and the fish ran away. The shark was being greedy.
One day the shark was trapped in a net and the fish and the other fish helped the shark get out of the trap and the shark was free! The shark and the fish became friends.
When the fish is hungry the shark gives him some food.

A poem for my mummy

Mummy
I miss you when we're not together
I'm growing up so fast
see how big I've gotten
since you saw me last?

As I grow, I'll change a lot
the years will fly right by
you'll wonder how I grew so quick
when and where and why

so save this card in a safe place
and take it out each year
the memories will come back of me
when I was small and dear.

This poem was written on The Mother's Day card last year, 2005 in my class, clas 4 with little help from Mr Melloy. Mummy loves the card so much. She said the card makes her happy and she loves me a lot.

A hen in a hole

Once upon a time there lived a hen who fell in the hole. She called for help but nobody came. Suddenly the fox came but he didn't help. He took the hen's eggs and ran away.
Just then the hen's friends came and the monkey took a rope he gave it to the giraffe and then the giraffe put down the rope and then the hen grabbed hold of the rope and the giraffe and the monkey and rest of the hen's friends all pulled together to get the hen out of the hole, soon the hen was free! The hen and her friends set a trap for the fox. When the fox came, he walked straight into the trap and fell into it. Then, the hen and her friends came and asked the fox to return the eggs if the fox wanted to get out of the trap. The fox gave back the egg and they helped the fox get out of the trap. The fox said sorry and they all became friends.
